Most recently David was a SharePoint Engineer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and prior to that he was an IT Consultant at Presence Health, where he was responsible for the daily maintenance and customization of their corporate intranet.  David is an experienced Microsoft SharePoint developer, with expertise in .NET, C#, and a variety of third party products that work in conjunction with SharePoint.  These products included Nintex Forms and Workflows, Amrein Web Parts, Bamboo Web Parts, and Boost Web Parts.

At the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, David provided SharePoint support to the Chicago region.  He worked closely with internal bank customers to design, create, and implement new forms and business process workflows (using InfoPath, Nintex, SharePoint).  The workflows made extensive use of state machines to provide maximum flexibility to reviewers and approvers to be able to return documents and forms any number of times for further review and modification.  He developed new or refined existing PowerShell scripts to populate SharePoint lists for use in workflows.  He participated in Office365 and SharePoint Online strategy, planning, governance, migration.  He helped to organize an Office365 Adoption Champions Team.

At Presence Health David was responsible for C# programs including an identity management system and an emergency room physician on-call system.   He designed and implemented the on-call system, tied the program into physician data from MDStaff, led a team of IT consultants who upgraded the program from Microsoft Infopath to a C#-based custom Sharepoint feature, and developed a hybrid (Cloud + On-Premise) PowerApps version of the program. The upgrade led to a decision to mandate use of the program by all Presence Health hospitals.

He designed a disaster recovery (DR) system that allowed a highly automated DR process.  It was simple and inexpensive, featuring a low-availability architecture and no dependencies between the production and failover SharePoint farms.

He designed a Change Request form and workflow for the EPIC Electronic Health Record team, and additionally created a variety of sites, workflows and forms for various departments including Tech Support, Identity Management, Network Services, Mission, Emergency Medicine, Medical Staff Administration, Finance, Nursing, Security, Compliance,  Human Resources, and Engineering.

David provided IT support for the merger of Resurrection Healthcare and Provena Health, which required merging the two corporate intranets and Active Directories.  He also supported intranet changes required by the sale of several hospitals and the  merger of Presence Health and AMITA, and the migration of e-forms and workflows onto the Presence Health Office365/SharePoint Online Microsoft cloud.
